	Step 1 Choose a suitable site.
	Step 2 Remove the turf (60cm x 60cm) and place to one side.
	Step 3 Remove the soil to a depth of 40cm and place onto a sheet for ease.
	Step 4 Measure to confirm a 40cm depth.
	Step 5 Place the turf into the hole and chop up.
	Step 6 The chopped up turf provides added nutrients.
	Step 7 Place the tree and a stake into the hole, ensuring the stake has been placed windward side for protection.
	Step 8 Back-fill the soil, ensuring it coincides with the nursery level, as can be seen by the change of colour on the main trunk.
	Step 9 Firm down the soil as you back-fill.
	Step 10 Fasten the tree using a figure of eight.
